🚨 NOW HIRING – MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN🚨

Mancan, in partnership with a Jefferson-area manufacturing facility, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team! 🔧

If you're mechanically inclined, enjoy troubleshooting, and have experience maintaining industrial or injection molding equipment, this could be a great opportunity for you!

💰 PAY:
$18.00+/hour, depending on experience
⭐ Pay is negotiable – all experience and pay levels will be considered!

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time | Approximately 40 hours per week
• Must be available for evening and weekend on-call needs as necessary

🔧 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Change over, repair, and troubleshoot plant production equipment, including injection molding machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance according to established PM schedules
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Work with conveyors, compressors, chillers, programmable controllers, robots, and other production equipment
• Assist with equipment and machine installations, wiring, and programming
• Perform machine setups and adjustments as needed
• Understand machine processing and recipe management
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine necessary repairs
• Maintain equipment to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
• Implement improvements related to spoilage, downtime, and line speeds
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete required maintenance reports
• Maintain and organize spare parts
• Order replacement parts and services as necessary
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when needed
• Train employees on safe and efficient equipment operation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Complete additional maintenance duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Industrial maintenance and troubleshooting experience
• Injection molding equipment experience is highly valuable
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Preventative maintenance experience
• Ability to work independently and respond to equipment issues quickly
• Must be willing to provide your own tools
