Bittersweet is seeking

Part-time employees to work 3rd Shift 11:00pm- 8:45am. Need Candidates that are able to work Mondays and Wednesdays!

Direct Support Professionals help enrich lives and make a difference while also providing you with a valuable work experience. Direct Support Professionals teach, mentor and positively impact the lives of individuals with disabilities by assisting with activities of daily living, promoting independence, facilitating various methods of communication, and so much more!

A rewarding career path for those interested in disability studies, nursing, health care, social work/ social services, education, direct care, home health and those with a desire to help others.

No experience necessary, we provide paid training, must be available to train on 2nd shift.

  • 3rd Shift Pay: $16.50 plus a $2.50 differential!

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide person-centered supports which requires flexibility, creativity, and commitment
  • Work in partnership with participants
  • Document service delivery accurately, thoroughly and in a timely manner
  • Promote communication, choice, independence, socialization, and empowerment for the participants
  • Assistance with participant hygiene requirements could include bathing, toileting, and bodily fluids.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Possess and uses empathy in all actions and interactions
  • Effectively work in teams with co-workers and participants

    Ability to express patience in difficult situations
  • Exceptional and adaptable oral communication
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License with eligibility to be insured
