Job Purpose

The CAD frame drawer will be responsible for creating 3D furniture frame models using Solid Works software.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create 3D furniture frames; manage and modify current frame files as needed.
  • Work closely with the PD department to create and modify frames.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications Minimum Experience Requirements

3+ Years Solid Works 3D Drawing.

Preferred Experience Requirements

5+ Years of Furniture frame drawing in Solid Works.

Minimum Education Requirements

High School Diploma and Certification in Solid Works.

Preferred Education Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in CAD with 3+ years’ experience in Solid Works.

Required Skills
  • Proficient in Solid Works software.
  • Understanding of the frame drawing process.
  • Ability to work with Product Development to create new and revise old frames.
  • Ability to perform established goals in a fast‑paced environment; strict attention to detail.
  • Team player, reliable, work with minimum supervision.
  • Must have own reliable transportation; ability to work weekends and overtime.
  • Strong communication skills in reading, comprehending, speaking, and writing in English.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
  • Lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day; some walking/standing required.
  • Work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant which is heated and cooled, as well as a typical office environment.
  • Good vision; required PPE:
    Safety Glasses and close-toe/close‑heel shoes when required.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries.
