Direct Support Professional - Autism School​/1st Shift - Pemberville, OH

Bittersweet is seeking Part‑time employees to work 1st shift 8:00AM‑2:30PM as Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in our transitional school to help enrich lives and make a difference while providing you with a valuable work experience. No experience necessary; paid training provided.

$16.50 per hour

• Starting wage from $16.50 - $17.00 / Hourly / Bi-weekly pay

• Provide person‑centered supports which requires flexibility, creativity, and commitment
• Work in partnership with participants
• Document service delivery accurately, thoroughly and in a timely manner
• Promote communication, choice, independence, socialization, and empowerment for the participants

• Possess and uses empathy in all actions and interactions
• Effectively work in teams with co‑workers and participants
• Ability to express patience in difficult situations
• Exceptional and adaptable oral communication
• High School Diploma / GED
• Valid Driver's License with eligibility to be insured
