SummaryThis role will provide Service Coordination to participants referred to Workforce Services by Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities office. This person will implement the company mission and abide by all Charles Taylor Policies and Guidelines and those identified by the referral source to ensure that participants receive timely, efficient and quality services.
Essential Functions- Understanding of the Americans with Disabilities Act, how to request an accommodation and what is required to work with individuals who have disabilities including basic disabilities knowledge.
- Have good social and communication skills, patience, and time management skills.
- Demonstrate confidence, honesty and reliability with the ability to carry out professional code of ethics.
- Knowledge of the use of computers and basic office software (Word, Excel).
- Be goal oriented and highly organized.
- Provide on-site job coaching and teaching to individuals with disabilities. This includes the following:
- Contact or meet with participant on site or off site to provide on the job supports
- Implement hands on and/or supportive guidance to ensure that the individual successfully retains position secured and learns position duties
- Assure that the participant is compliant with the program, employment requirements and report to the VRC any significant issues
- Model professional behavior and teach employment-related soft skills
- Assure that the participant is compliant with the program and report to the VRC any significant issues
- Complete legible well written reports on each case in accordance with requirements specified by the VRC.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Preferred knowledge in working with people with disabilities
- Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and willing to travel.
- Must have excellent communication skills and problems solving abilities.

Pay Range$18 - $22 per hour
Charles Taylor offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
