Bittersweet, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides residential, vocational, and recreational services to individuals with autism. Bittersweet is seeking Part-Time employees to work third shift as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) between the hours of 11:00PM to 8:00AM for 3rd shift to help enrich lives and make a difference while providing you with a valuable work experience.
Pay: $11.00 - $16.50 per hour with a 3rd shift differential
Schedule: 9 hr. Shifts
Job Type: Part-time
From 11:00 pm - 6:00 am = Sleep Shift Wage $11.00 per hour
From 6:00 am - 8:00 am = Awake Shift Wage $16.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
No experience necessary, we provide paid training.
Responsibilities and Duties- Provide person-centered supports which requires flexibility, creativity, and commitment
- Work in partnership with participants
- Document service delivery accurately, thoroughly and in a timely manner
- Promote communication, choice, independence, socialization, and empowerment for the participants
- Possess and uses empathy in all actions and interactions
- Effectively work in teams with co-workers and participants
- Ability to express patience in difficult situations
- Exceptional and adaptable oral communication
- MUST be able to pass a background check
- MUST be able to provide proof of High School Diploma or GED
- MUST be able to show proof of Valid Driver's License & Auto Insurance
