Behavior Interventionist – Wellness Center Program
Southwest Ohio Council of Governments is seeking a Behavior Interventionist for the Wellness Center Program in Mason, Ohio. The position is located at either the Wellness Center Deerfield Campus or Phoenix Campus, both in Mason. The role involves working 5 days a week (Monday - Friday) with students in grades K-12 who have social-emotional learning needs, behavioral challenges, and require therapeutic support.
The Wellness Center provides intensive non-residential programming that combines mental health services and social emotional learning for 80% of the day, with educational programming in Math and English Language Arts for the remaining 20%. The program aims to strengthen students' ability to be safe, responsible, and mindful in the academic setting, preventing the need for more restrictive services and helping them return to a more academically rigorous environment.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $25 to $37 per hour based on experience and qualifications. The WCESC also offers a highly competitive benefits package including dental, life insurance, and the School Employee Retirement System (SERS).
