We develop cutting-edge foundational generative AI models that "unmute" silent video content and create custom, hyper-realistic audio for gaming, video platforms, and creators. Our technology empowers global storytellers to transform their content.

We recently closed a $41 million Seed round co-led by Andreessen Horowitz and Index Ventures with participation from Atlantic, and are rapidly expanding across Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Growth.

About the Role

At Mirelo, you'll join a small, fast-moving team building real products on top of our generative audio models. This role is hands‑on and high‑ownership: you'll ship end‑to‑end features across our stack, work directly with research and product, and help shape how our technology becomes something creators and partners actually use. As we scale our go‑to‑market efforts, the engineering work you do will sit at the heart of both user‑facing products and deeper integrations with platforms, tools, and enterprise partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining our products on top of our cutting‑edge generative AI models for music and sound.
• High degrees of ownership: you will be responsible for shipping end‑to‑end features across the front and back ends of our stack, as well as helping set the direction of the features and products you're working on.
• Collaborate closely with our research teams and growth/sales teams and stay close to our users: spot practical opportunities, identify pain points, and turn them into actionable engineering tasks.
• Work comfortably with our current tech stack:
  Type Script, React, Tailwind, shadcn, and Convex as the backend.
• Work with essential cloud services‑primarily AWS Lambda and S3‑for integrations, automation, and deployment workflows
• Use modern AI‑assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) to move fast while keeping craftsmanship high.
• Communicate clearly with teammates, jump into discussions, and help drive the technical direction together.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of professional web development experience, preferably in fast‑moving product or startup environments.
• Strong expertise in Type Script (both frontend and backend), React, Tailwind, component libraries.
• Solid understanding of backend fundamentals: data modeling, migrations, performance, API design, security and data workflow.
• Self‑directed in a healthy way: you take ownership, move forward proactively, and keep the team in the loop.

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of machine learning and experience using ML/LLM tooling in products.
• Hands‑on experience with Convex, or similar serverless backend platforms, and the ability to quickly become productive with it. Proficiency in Python.
• Exposure to AWS beyond Lambda/S3 (Cloud Front, IAM basics, monitoring).
• Experience contributing to or maintaining larger production codebases.
