  • Define and enforce best practices in service‑oriented architecture, API design, security, testing, and release management.
  • Manage complex dependencies and risks in a multi‑vendor, multi‑system billing environment.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and professional development to grow a high‑caliber billing engineering team.
  • Continuously improve billing processes and systems to support international markets, multiple currencies, tax jurisdictions, and regulatory compliance.
Profile
  • Experience leading engineering teams responsible for complex, integrated billing or revenue management systems in international environments.
  • Strong product management skills, including backlog prioritization, stakeholder management, roadmap planning, and user story refinement.
  • Deep technical expertise in integrations between Salesforce (including multiple orgs), SAP ERP systems, Stripe payment gateway, Avalara tax service, and other billing‑related platforms.
  • Experience designing and building scalable, reliable, and secure billing services supporting usage‑based, subscription, and one‑time billing models.
  • Extensive knowledge of international tax regimes, compliance, and revenue recognition standards.
  • Expertise in service‑oriented architecture, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud‑native platforms.
  • Strong background in software engineering best practices: CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, and incident response.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to bridge technical and business stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior product managers or technical leads is highly desirable.
  • Ability to operate autonomously with a strategic mindset and strong customer focus.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ and billing modules.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems on a similar scope; experience with subscription engine (keylight) appreciated.
