On-Site Test Engineer — Embedded & PC Software Automation

GLIWA is a worldwide leading provider for timing related analysis and interdisciplinary expert services. With the powerful Analysis Suite T1, we offer the most efficient software-based timing analysis optimization and verification tools for embedded software.

We are looking for a Test Engineer on-site at Weilheim Head Quarter to join our team to support the quality assurance of our PC software and embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated system tests in C# for PC software and embedded devices
• Create and maintain test specifications
• Perform code reviews to ensure high software quality
• Maintain and enhance our Jenkins build and CI environment
• Support hardware interfacing and perform soldering tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, vocational training in IT or comparable qualification through several years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in software development using C#, Java, or another object-oriented programming language
• Background in software and/or embedded testing is an advantage
• Experience with Continuous Integration, preferably Jenkins
• Experience with Tuleap is a plus but not required
• Initial experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python and/or Power Shell) is desirable
• Hands-on hardware experience is an advantage
• Structured and independent working style with strong team skills
• English proficiency at B2–C1 level
