Now Hiring | Software Principal Engineer
Location:
Raymond, OH | Pay: $61.58–$62.00/hr.
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer – Technical Lead to support the design, development, and delivery of advanced UX-focused software systems. This role combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, mentoring, and project oversight across full‑stack, cloud‑connected applications.
The ideal candidate will contribute to architecture decisions, guide junior engineers, and ensure secure, scalable, and high‑quality software delivery in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end design, development, and testing of UX-focused software applications
- Develop cloud‑based and internet-connected systems using full‑stack methodologies
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior engineers
- Support architecture planning, system integration, and module design decisions
- Ensure cybersecurity best practices are followed in all development efforts
- Troubleshoot complex software and system integration issues
- Participate in Agile development processes (Scrum/Kanban)
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver user‑centric solutions
- Contribute to technical documentation, planning, and project execution
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Strong proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, and C++
- Full‑stack development experience (front‑end + back‑end integration)
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of SQL and No
SQL databases - Experience working in Agile development environments
- Ability to balance hands‑on coding with technical leadership responsibilities
- Experience mentoring software engineers in a production environment
- Strong GUI development experience with modern frameworks
- Background in system integration and debugging complex applications
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and leadership abilities
