** Software Engineer Simulation Eurofighter (d/f/m)
** At Airbus Defence & Space we are developing high fidelity Eurofighter Engineering and Training Simulators for a variety of applications over the entire development lifecycle. At the core, our Simulations are distributed real-time applications. We are looking for a Dev Ops Engineer to build, configure and deploy simulations. You will be working in an international team, located in Manching, Germany.

** Your tasks and responsibilities
*** Setup and maintain continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines for new and existing projects Package and containerize complex real-time distributed applications
* Assist the integration team in automating the development and deployment processes
* Create and perform unit tests of simulation components (C++ / Python)
* Educate your fellow developers about CI/CD by creating tutorials, documentation and giving regular talks
** Desired skills and qualifications
*** Bachelor ́s degree in Computer Science or a comparable engineering subject
* Many years of relevant professional experience
* CI/CD Components (Jenkins, Nexus, Sonarqube) and setting up pipelines
* Various Linux distributions
* Packaging applications and libraries for multiple platforms (apt, yum, conan, docker)
* Containers and Hypervisors (Proxmox, Ovirt/RHEV, Swarm, Kubernetes)
* Configuration & Automation management tools like Ansible
* Software Version Control Systems (Git)
* Good knowledge of at least one scripting language such as Python
* Experience in C++ would be beneficial
* Very good English, written and spoken
