** Software Test Engineer (m/f/d)
** to join our Cell and Biomolecular Analysis Division, where we develop best-in-class automated electrophoresis instruments and reagent product lines.
As a member of an international team, you will work in diverse cultural environments, maintaining effective lines of communication and a positive work atmosphere.
** Major Responsibilities:
*** Design, develop, and execute manual and automated software tests, including test plans and test cases, to ensure Agilent products meet quality objectives, customer requirements, applicable standards, and regulatory requirements
* Use test tools and frameworks based on functional and design specifications, and measure, track, and report test coverage across relevant dimensions
* Collaborate with developers, product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done, ensuring testability, consistency, and completeness
* Analyze test results, assess and communicate risk during execution, and document outcomes, defects, and deviations to support follow-up actions and product improvements
* Review and approve peer test results where applicable, and complete assignments with clearly defined objectives while maintaining high quality standards## ##
** Qualifications
* **
* Qualifications:
*** Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent university degree, typically with 5+ years of relevant experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related field
* Experience working in Agile Scrum environments, with proficiency in Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bit Bucket for requirements management, collaboration, and test coverage tracking
* Hands-on experience with laboratory analytical instrumentation is highly desirable; experience with test automation frameworks and/or software programming is strongly preferred
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively in diverse international teams
* Excellent English communication skills;
German language proficiency is an advantage
