Software Engineer – Image Processing (C++ / GPU) Responsibilities

• Maintain, support, and optimize our robust legacy C++ codebase to ensure continued operational excellence.
• Actively participate in the design and development of our new, next‑generation GPU‑centric architecture.
• Collaborate with system and platform architects, system engineers, and other stakeholders to generate high‑performance, GPU‑centric, scalable designs for complex signal/image processing.
• Work closely with CT BU platforms to develop high‑quality software for deployment in products.
• Partner with processing algorithm designers to improve algorithms and reduce computational burden.
• Provide technical solutions that meet requirements with a strong focus on end‑users, high quality (QMS/regulatory standards), performance, safety, and security.
• Travel up to 10% as needed; the position will be based in Cleveland, OH.

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Biomedical, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field with background in medical image formation theory.
• Experience developing and maintaining complex software systems in C++.
• Exposure to or experience with GPU programming (e.g., CUDA), or a highly intelligent, adaptable individual eager to learn GPU‑centric development.
• Proficiency with image/signal processing; proficiency in MATLAB and Python is helpful, but strong C++ proficiency is essential.
• Ability and desire to collaborate closely with CT global development teams in the US, India, and China.

Salary range in Ohio is $89,000 to $. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted range based on factors such as job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include an annual incentive bonus, sales commission, or long‑term incentives.
