React JS Developer

We have partnered with our client in their search for a React Developer for one of our clients in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

• Develop modern UI using front-end technologies like React and backend services such as Spring, ECS, AWS, S3, RESTful services.
• Design React JS-based components for customer-facing applications.
• Understand existing flows and modernize using cloud-based technologies like AWS, React, Spring Boot.
• Collaborate within and outside the team to design and develop solutions, analyze, and fix issues.
• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, thinking beyond routine approaches to build solutions or address technical problems.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms synchronized with appropriate systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met by software development.
• Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reports from large, diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems.
• Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data, using insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore new and emerging technologies.
• Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Skills Required

• Must have skills: React JS (2-3 years), JavaScript (5+ years), Web Sockets (2-3 years), NodeJS (2-3 years), Cucumber, Jest, Cypress (5+ years)
• NICE to have skills: Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, AWS, Spring, Spring Boot, Scripting experience
• Frontend to backend ratio for this role: 80/20

Education & Work Experience

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent
• Relevant work experience in software engineering
