SAP BTP - Senior Consultant
The Inetum company is strengthening its team of SAP specialists with the hiring of a Senior SAP BTP Consultant, capable of leading cloud-native development initiatives, side-by-side extensions, and advanced integrations in the SAP Business Technology Platform.
We are looking for an experienced, autonomous professional with architectural vision, prepared to work on national and international projects of high complexity.
Job DescriptionMain Responsibilities:
- BTP Extensions Development - Building cloud-native applications in CAP/RAP, with integration to S/4
HANA and external systems. - Clean Core Architecture - Defining solutions that respect the extensibility model recommended by SAP.
- Integration with S/4
HANA - Consuming and exposing APIs, events, OData V4, and business services. - Frontend Development - Creating SAPUI5/Fiori Elements or modern frameworks (React/Angular) interfaces.
- Cloud Dev Ops - Implementing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and BTP environment management.
- Cloud Integrations - Developing iFlows, APIs, and connectors using Integration Suite.
- Active participation in national and international projects, agile methodologies, and multidisciplinary teams.
Required Technical
Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in SAP BTP (development or architecture).
- Proven expertise in:
- CAP (Node.js or Java)
- RAP and OData V4
- Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma
- XSUAA, Destinations, Connectivity, Event Mesh
- SAPUI5 / Fiori Elements
- Integration Suite (iFlows, APIs, Open Connectors)
- Experience with Git, Transport Management Service, CI/CD (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops).
- English B2 or higher (required).
Valued Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with HANA Cloud (HDI, Calculation Views, SQLScript).
- Knowledge of React or Angular.
- Experience with automated tests (OPA5, Jest, Cypress).
- SAP BTP or S/4
HANA certifications. - Experience in SAP S/4
HANA Cloud Public Edition projects. - Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture.
Location & Work Model
- Hybrid model, with possibility of remote and onsite work.
- Preference for candidates from Greater Lisbon or Greater Porto.
