Software Development Engineer in Test; m​/w​/d

We are looking for you to join our test & release team of the Grid & Energy Management business unit.

As an Software Development Engineer in Test(m/w/d) your mission is to accelerate PSI GEM’s transformation toward scalable automation and continuous quality by developing frameworks, tools and engineering practices that enable teams to deliver reliable, secure and high-performing software. You drive quality engineering across teams by embedding automation, security testing and intelligent testing approaches into the software delivery lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks for functional, integration and regression testing
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous verification and fast feedback
• Perform white-box and automated security testing, including SAST, DAST and SCA
• Introduce AI-supported testing approaches and coverage analytics to improve efficiency and test relevance
• Coach and enable developers and Test Engineers in automation and quality engineering best practices
• Collaborate with Dev Ops and Release Engineering to ensure scalable, compliant and consistent delivery processes
• Continuously evaluate and introduce modern testing and security automation tools

• 5+ years of experience in SDET (m/w/d), Test Automation, Quality Engineering or related roles
• Strong programming and automation framework development skills
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Git Lab CI, Jenkins or Bitbucket Pipelines
• Knowledge of white-box testing and security testing methodologies
• Experience in complex, cross-functional software environments
• Strong communication, collaboration and coaching skills
