This role supports the Consumer and Community Branch Workplace Technology team in building and delivering trusted, market‑leading technology products in a secure, stable and scalable way. As a core technical contributor you will develop critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas and various business functions to support the firm’s business objectives.

• Partner and collaborate with product, architecture, security and operations teams to prioritize reliability and embed best practices across the software development lifecycle to improve operations across the Branch Products.
• Lead and develop resilient software solutions that improve reliability, scalability and system performance of the Branch Systems.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external and internal teams to probe architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.
• Develop secure, high‑quality production code, review and debug code written by others.
• Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading‑edge technologies.

• Formal training or certification in software development concepts and 5+ years applied experience in SRE/Dev Ops, platform engineering or a similar field.
• Proficiency in operating and managing cloud‑based services using IaC or EaC (e.g., Terraform) in AWS.
• Hands‑on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing and operational stability.
• Proficiency in utilizing observability tooling such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, Datadog etc.
• Advanced programming skills in Java and Python.
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods/patterns.
• Experience across the entire Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency and security.
• Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile).
• Fluent in English.

• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate).
• Experience in SRE/Dev Ops practices (SLA/SLOs, error budgets, MTTR, MTTD).
• Knowledge of RAG architectures.
• Exposure to AI/Automation technologies that improve operations.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
