Overview
Dual study programme 2027:
Computer Science - Computer Science (B.Sc.). The programme starts on 01.09.2027 at the Waldkirch site in cooperation with Karlsruhe Cooperative State University.

What you can expect- Diverse insights and collaboration in various departments, including Information Technology and Research & Development
- Design and implementation of customised software solutions
- Assignments related to professional software development for client and server applications
- Work on the development of complex software systems, network setup and administration, and database design and administration
- Use of tools such as database systems and programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) and creation of graphical user interfaces and web-based applications
- Course content includes software engineering, databases, data structures, business administration, maths and scientific work
- In-depth topics: project management, web engineering, network and communication technology, databases, practical computer science, consulting, knowledge-based and interactive systems
- Study specialisations:
Artificial intelligence, IT security, Industry 4.0 / Internet of Things
- A-levels or equivalent entrance qualification for universities or a comparable training (plus passed Delta exam at the DHBW)
- Strong interest in developing apps and software applications
- Initial programming experience is an advantage
- Good performance in technical subjects (computer science, maths, English)
- Logical thinking and interest in complex topics
- Enthusiasm for innovation and technologies used in our company
- Analytical and precise way of working
- Team player with willingness to take on responsibility
- Good command of English
- Good knowledge of German (level C1), see admission requirements of the dual university
