Fullstack Software Developer (Gamedev):
Developing and maintaining web-based services for the MMO Albion Online with an accent on web UI development, backend microservices, and system reliability. Focus on building high-performance registration, login, and shop management systems while contributing to modernizing existing technical architectures.

Location:

Must be based in or able to commute to Berlin, Germany (Hybrid model).

Sandbox Interactive is an established, profitable game development studio based in Berlin, best known for the cross-platform title Albion Online.

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend systems supporting the Albion Online web infrastructure.
• Modernize established systems into contemporary, scalable architectures.
• Collaborate on projects for both internal and external users with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality across the team.
• Advance unit and integration testing of microservices.
• Analyze and resolve issues within the production environment to ensure 24/7 availability.

• Location:
  Must be based in or able to commute to Berlin.
• Over 3 years of experience as a software engineer with a strong emphasis on web UI development.
• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, Type Script, HTML, and CSS.
• Practical experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of microservice architecture, API design, and REST.
• Professional proficiency in English.

• Practical experience with PHP and Symfony framework.
• Experience with Redis and RabbitMQ.
