Location: Germany
Software Engineer (Med Tech):
Developing high-quality, safe, and user-friendly software for patient monitoring devices with an accent on embedded systems and compliance with IEC 62304 standards. Focus on building robust architectures, ensuring code quality through verification and validation, and collaborating within an agile team.
Location:
Must be based in the Greater Munich area and able to work on-site in Feldkirchen 2-3 days per week.

What you will do- Develop and maintain application and embedded software for patient monitoring devices.
- Ensure compliance with the IEC 62304 standard throughout the development lifecycle.
- Create comprehensive product requirements and contribute to software architecture and design.
- Conduct rigorous verification and validation activities according to medical industry standards.
- Maintain high code quality using version control, CI, and automated testing practices.
- Collaborate within agile teams to iterate on features and improvements.
- Relevant degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or medical engineering.
- Several years of professional software development experience, ideally in a regulated environment.
- Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++17 or newer).
- Solid background in Linux development.
- Good understanding of Python.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of service-oriented architectures and distributed middleware like ZeroMQ.
- Experience with Qt and QML for GUI development.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
- Experience with ARM-based SoCs such as i.MX8.
- Interest in test automation using frameworks like Robot Framework.
