Senior Frontend Engineer (Angular):
Build a new greenfield product from scratch with an accent on scalable frontend architecture and AI-augmented engineering. Focus on designing clean systems, technical ownership, and mentoring within a hybrid work environment in Germany.
Location:
Berlin or Munich, Germany (Hybrid with remote options)
Castle Tech is building a new standalone product with a focus on modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development.
What you will do- Build a new production-grade product from the ground up using Angular and Type Script
- Design and implement scalable frontend architecture
- Own features from concept to deployment and contribute to system design decisions
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
- Establish development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical feedback
- Must have 5+ years frontend experience
- Strong Angular and Type Script expertise
- Experience with scalable frontend architectures and software design principles
- Familiarity with modern frontend tooling, Git, CI/CD, Docker
- Experience in agile teams (Scrum or Kanban)
- Strong English communication skills
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
- Experience building greenfield products or new platforms
- Familiarity with AI-related components such as RAG or vector databases
- Experience with Material Design or product-oriented UI development
- Conversational German
- Work on a greenfield product with real technical ownership
- Modern engineering environment with AI-assisted workflows
- Flexible hybrid work options in Berlin or Munich
- Choice of Mac Book or Windows setup
