Freight & Forwarding Assistant

Job Description & Requirements

A leading 3PL logistics company is looking for a Freight and Forwarding Assistant to:

• Coordinate the shipping documents and instruction from customer
• Preparation of HBL & MBL
• Monitoring of vessel movement, finalize the release of HBL to customer
• Sending pre-alert documents to destination office
• Coordinate with transport contractor to pick up empty container
• Coordinate with warehouse for stuffing of container
• Verifying contractor invoice and billing to customer
• Other routine shipment related coordination and documentations
• Other duties as assigned

• Candidate must possess at least an "O" level/Professional Certificate/NiTEC
• Computer literate
• Preferably with some basic understanding of NVO operation and documentation
• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred in a Warehouse/Logistic industry
• Initiative and willingness to learn
• Able to work independently
• Attentive to details and good coordination skills
• Must be willing to work in Pioneer area
• Able to commit to overtime as and when required
