Air Logistics Perishables Operational Care Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and service-driven Air Logistics Perishables Operational Care Specialist to join our Operational Care team.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating airfreight shipments end-to-end, ensuring timely execution, accurate documentation, and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining shipment visibility and resolving operational deviations while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.

• Manage and execute all operational shipment activities accurately and on time
• Coordinate bookings with carriers, gateways, and partners
• Monitor shipments proactively and manage deviations or disruptions
• Ensure timely system updates, including operational and financial data
• Review and validate shipping instructions against routing, regulatory, and rate requirements
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and elevate issues when required
• Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Care, Sales, Procurement, Warehousing, etc.)
• Engage with external stakeholders such as carriers, vendors, and warehouses
• Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
• Drive cost efficiency and maximise operational profitability
• Support smooth transition from sales to operations during customer onboarding

• Background in Freight Forwarding / Logistics preferred
• Foundational knowledge of airfreight operations and regulations
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Team player with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across functions
