What You’ll Do as a CDL‑A Delivery Driver

Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection reports.
Verify bill of lading and store keys for off‑hour delivery accuracy.
Drive tractor‑trailer to destinations, applying commercial driving regulations and vehicle maneuvers.
Maintain driver log (manual or People Net) per DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures, and exceptions.
Unload trailer, delivering products into customer premises.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring

At least 21 years of age.
Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL‑A).
At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience.
Meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
Ability to read, write, and understand English for job‑related tasks effectively and safely.
