Position Title:
Crude Truck Driver (Ohio)

Scope & Responsibilities of Crude Truck Driver: (Not limited to)
- Haul and deliver approximately 2-4 loads per day as communicated by Supervisor and determined by business needs.
- Transfer crude oil from well site tanks to truck following set procedures and deliver to Sandyville Terminal for unloading cleanly and without loss of containment.
- Accurately gauge well tanks and perform all required readings and measurements before and after transfer is complete.
- Follow proper unloading procedures at Sandyville Terminal and maintain accurate paperwork to track and measure hauled volumes.
- Regularly check tires, fuel, oil, radiator, brakes, and lights and perform basic mechanical activities necessary to maintain equipment in safe and effective operating condition; keep any associated maintenance records.
- Keep work areas clean and orderly, wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies of both the producer and employer.
- Must participate in all recommended and/or required training to include, but not limited to, classroom and on-the-job safety training, HAZWOPER, hazardous waste hauling, etc.

- High School graduate or equivalent with 21 years of age and minimum 1-2 year driving experience.
- Experience driving a truck through the four seasons, as well as off-road to remote locations is preferred.
- Must possess valid motor vehicle driver's license and be able to meet the qualifications as required by Federal and State laws for Class A CDL license with endorsements H (HAZMAT) and N(Tank) preferred but would consider Class B CDL with endorsements H (HAZMAT) and N(Tank).

- Maintain a good driving record, with 2 points or less on the CDL over a rolling two-year period.
- Must pass DOT physical, road test and written examination required by US Department of Transportation.
- Knowledgeable of U. S. Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Federal Motor Carrier Safety (FMCS) and Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) regulations as required under law and organizational policies.
- Must be able to work overtime as required and furnish own transportation to and from jobsite.
- Mechanical . Aptitude. Understand the basic mechanical functions of a truck, including air systems, power take-off and piping/pumping systems.
- Capable of troubleshooting and repairing basic problems unassisted, including but not limited to tire pressure, refueling, engine fluid levels, brake functions and lights.
- Understand functionality of air brake systems and routinely monitor/assess for acceptable performance; familiar with emergency breaking protocols.
- Use appropriate hand tools to manually and independently connect &/or disconnect equipment used during loading or unloading.
