OTR Truck Driver - Class A - Logistics

Job Description

Average $90,000 annually

Driver referral bonus program up to $5,000 per referral

You will drive:

Late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with inward and outward facing in‑cab cameras for safety.

What you will do:

• Deliver garage doors & components to customers.
• Dock to dock deliveries utilizing hand carts.

Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday.
• Paid vacation and holidays day one.

As a CDL Class A Truck Driver for Penske, you will represent Penske and its clients, providing safe, timely delivery of freight and delivering outstanding customer service.

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• Must currently hold, or be able to obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card.
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the past 5 years.
• 3‑year DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents.
• Ability to follow all federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• English language proficiency required (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)).
• Work the required schedule and location, complete Penske employment application, and submit to a background investigation and drug screening.
• The position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and requires constant alertness and safe behavior. Associates must accept responsibility for their own safety and that of others.

Physical Requirements:

• Must see and hear. Required vision includes close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment.
• Must frequently move, stand, walk, and sit, often lifting up to 50 lb (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lb (45 kg).
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
