Driver Class A

Clean Harbors in Jeffersonville, OH is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks and work equipment at our customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll offs. The role involves driving and non‑driving duties on and off customer sites.

Drivers will move trailers onsite, drive loads from our site to other vendor locations, and when not driving they will assist on the dock or in the warehouse with preparing and loading shipments.

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks
• Load and unload trucks
• Perform manual labor on site to fulfill customer needs
• Properly placard vehicles to meet company and DOT requirements
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports
• Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules
• Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT and other regulatory requirements
• Observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
• Observe all company environmental health and safety guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week, if required by position
• Engage in site‑remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials, if required by position

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Perform physical functions as required by the job
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical exam, if required by position
• Meet facial hair standards if required to wear a respirator per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.34

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial driver experience
• Ability to operate a manual transmission
• Previous manual labor experience
