Air Logistics Warehouse Agent

We have an outstanding Contract position for anAir Logistics Warehouse Agent to join a leading Company located inEast Swanton, OH.

Hourly Pay Rate:  $18.00

As an Air Logistics Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to the t imely delivery of Express packages by loading and unloading of air freight containers, moving these containers from airplane to truck for on-time delivery to our customers at our airport location.  This job is a cross-dock operation; your role is to move Express packages from aircraft to warehouse to trucks with no/minimal storage.

Our indoor facility is an open-air environment and not temperature-controlled, and you may work in or around aircraft.  We perform at the highest level for our customers every day and strive to be an exceptional leader in our industry  with our  teams of warehouse and air logistics experts across our Express locations.

Job Responsibilities:

+  Load and unload package containers, moving packages by hand and pushcart, from the warehouse to the truck.

+  Build up package containers ready for outbound flights.

+  Break down package containers from arriving flights.

+  Remove tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading.

+  Sort, scan, and move small packages within the warehouse.

+  Operate  package handling  equipment such as pallet jacks and Gaylords (push carts).

+  Check air express containers for proper piece count, weight, dimensions, and documents as appropriate per air safety and security guidelines.

Basic Hiring Criteria:  

+  High School Diploma or equivalent required.

+  Minimum of one (1) year of related Warehouse experience

+  Must be able to lift up to 30lbs unassisted

+  Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without the assistance of sight or visual aids.

+  Must be able to work rotating shifts, including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), holidays, and days off.

+  Ability to judge distances.

+  Ability to successfully communicate with others.
