• Conduct the examination of applicants for vehicle operator’s license by physically accompanying applicant in vehicle during road testing over a prescribed course.
• Instruct applicant in maneuvers to be performed during testing.
• Administer driving tests to applicants for class D license, motorcycle license, moped license, restricted license and other exams as required by the BMV.
• Evaluate and grade applicant’s ability to drive.
• Utilize BMV computer systems to enter applicant information and to administer knowledge tests for various license classes and endorsements.

Formal education in arithmetic that includes calculating fractions, decimals & percentages and reading, writing & speaking English; and one course or three months’ experience in human/public relations, valid Ohio Class “D” Driver License; must be 21 years of age per Section 4507.05 (A) (2) (B). Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
