Service Inc. is nowhiring a Towing Dispatcher in Orient, Ohio!
As a Towing Dispatcher, you play a crucial role in coordinating towing services efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for receiving incoming requests for towing assistance, dispatching appropriate tow trucks to the scene, and ensuring timely and safe resolution of roadside incidents. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential for success in this role.

- Pay: Starting at $20/hr, offer dependent on experience
- 5pm-6am
- 3 days a week
- Previous experience in dispatching, customer service, or a related field preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Receive incoming calls or electronic requests for towing assistance from drivers, law enforcement agencies, or other stakeholders. Gather relevant information including location, type of vehicle, and nature of the issue.
- Coordinate with available tow truck drivers to dispatch the nearest and most appropriate unit to the location of the incident. Ensure efficient routing to minimize response times.
- Communicate instructions and details of the incident to tow truck drivers, including location specifics, customer information, and any special requirements.
- Continuously monitor the progress of ongoing towing assignments. Update stakeholders on estimated arrival times and any delays or complications that may arise.
- Field inquiries from customers, law enforcement, or other parties regarding towing services. Provide courteous and helpful assistance while maintaining professionalism.
- Maintain accurate records of all towing requests, including details of the incident, services provided, and any relevant information. Ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Quickly assess and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the towing process, such as vehicle complications or traffic obstacles.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and company policies governing towing operations. Maintain a thorough understanding of local laws and ordinances related to towing.
