As a Driver/Transportation Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in safely transporting residents to medical appointments, social outings, and facility-related activities while delivering courteous, professional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate transportation for residents to medical appointments, social events, and other outings

• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and facility policies

• Assist residents in and out of vehicles, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety at all times

• Perform basic vehicle checks and coordinate routine maintenance to keep vehicles in safe working order

• Maintain accurate records of trips, schedules, mileage, and vehicle maintenance

• Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff to confirm and update transportation needs

• Follow all healthcare, infection control, and transportation regulations and policies

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Current STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) certification required

• Previous experience as a driver, transportation aide, or similar role in healthcare preferred

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to assist residents with mobility needs and perform light vehicle upkeep

• Professional, patient, and respectful demeanor with residents, families, and coworkers
