Under the direction of the shift supervisor and/or the shift team leader, the CDL Shuttle Driver will be responsible for operating a semi-tractor trailer vehicle for the loading and delivery of products to/from the plant to the warehouse in a manner consistent with all safety, quality, and operational work instructions.

• Responsible for safelyoperatingthe shuttle vehicle on each trip.
  
  Must follow all applicable laws and company policy.
• Responsible for accounting for records involving trailer numbers and position of vehicles.
• Must function and interact on a daily basis with warehouse supervisors and comply with warehouse safety requirements.
• Must communicate using cellular telephone or 2-way radio with operations, and warehouse personnel in a courteous and professional manner.
• Must maneuver trucks into loading and unloading position, following signal from loading crew as needed. Also place safety wheel chocks in front of wheel/tire to prevent the trailer from rolling.
  
  If pup trailer movement is involved;extra care must be taken on the placement of the trailer jack stand (when at dock, jack stand must be on the ground and in a locked position). If there is not a jack stand installed on thetrailerthe customer must be notified.
• Proper use of Airline/Electrical hookup/and Backing procedure isa must.
• Follow all company policies, guidelines, and quality procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment.
• Assistinmaintainingthe security of the warehouse and yard.

• Work overtime as dictated by business whether mandatory or voluntary.

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must have a Class A CDL w/Hazmat endorsement.
• Minimum 2 years of verified tractor-trailer experience within the past 4 years.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must meet DOT physical requirements and maintain valid medical certificate.
• Must pass road and backing test during onboarding.

• Satisfactory completion of Class A CDL:
  
  Combination of vehicles with a GVWR of26,001 lbs. or more provided the GVWR of the vehicle(s) towedisinexcess of10,000 lbs.

• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer andcolder months can range from mild to moderate.

• Must be able to work as assigned outside and in a warehouse environment.
• Abilityto read and follow manufacturer's instruction manuals.

• Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-pacedwork environment.
