Shipping Logistics Officer; West

Main Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, permit declarations, payments and shipping documentation accurately and promptly.

• Coordinate cargo storage, transportation, depot arrangements, collection and shipment activities.

• Liaise with customers, transporters, warehouses, depots and internal departments to ensure smooth and timely cargo movements.

• Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to customers and relevant stakeholders.

• Prepare operational and management reports, including customer, import and export reports.

• Check shipping documents and ensure all information is accurately entered into the system for final billing.

• Follow up on operational issues and work with relevant parties to resolve them promptly.

• Maintain proper records and ensure compliance with operational and documentation requirements.

• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

• Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.

• One to two years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping or a related industry is preferred.

• Candidates without direct experience may also be considered if they demonstrate a strong interest in logistics and a willingness to learn.

• Familiarity with Trade Net and the PSA Haulier Community System will be an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.

• Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

• Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• Proactive, responsible and comfortable working independently as well as within a team.

• Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Working location:
  Pioneer area, West Singapore.

• 5.5-day work week (Alternate Saturdays, may be worked from home, subject to operational requirements).

• Training and guidance will be provided.
