Location: Jeffersonville
Starting Rate: $21.50 per hour.
Position SummaryWe are seeking a professional and organized Inventory Control Auditor to join our team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory records, accuracy, preventing loss, and improving operational efficiency within our warehouse. If you are a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a strong aptitude for data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we encourage you to submit your resume for consideration.
Key Responsibilities- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inventory audits to ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records
- Conduct cycle counts, spot checks, and full physical inventory as scheduled
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies, working closely with warehouse and inventory control teams
- Document and report audit results, including root cause analysis for discrepancies
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure proper documentation and handling
- Assist in developing and improving inventory audit processes and procedures
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, RF scanner) as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including receiving, shipping, and purchasing, to support accurate inventory levels
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe audit areas within the warehouse
- 1+ year of experience in warehouse inventory control or auditing preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs., stand, and walk for extended periods
- Forklift certification (if applicable) a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
or a related field preferred.
