Are you a Warehouse Management System (WMS) expert who loves solving puzzles? Avery Dennison is looking for an Inventory & Warehouse Lead (internally known as our Logistics Engine) to oversee the "circulatory system" of our facility. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for data accuracy, we want you on our team.
What You’ll Do (The Day-to-Day)- Inventory Integrity: Lead all cycle count programs and investigate inventory variances to ensure 100% data accuracy in our ERP/WMS systems.
- Operational Flow: Oversee the receiving, storing, and movement of materials to keep production running smoothly.
- Safety Leadership: Conduct safety audits (BBSO, LOTO) and ensure all forklift operations meet our high safety standards.
- Strategic Liaison: Act as the point of contact for local vendors and recycling partners, managing the facility’s sustainability programs.
- Problem Solving: Actively pursue the disposition of obsolete or defective inventory to maximize warehouse efficiency.
- WMS Expertise: At least 5 years of experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
- Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to investigate variances and conduct root-cause analysis on inventory discrepancies.
- Equipment Pro: Previous forklift experience and certification is required.
- Resilience: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can pivot quickly when production priorities shift.
