Lead Inventory Associate - 2nd shift

Lead Inventory Associate – 2nd Shift (2:00 PM-10:30 PM)

Location:

Canal Winchester.

• Lead and coordinate loading and unloading of freight accurately.
• Maintain inventory control, rotation, and inspection procedures.
• Act as liaison between Warehouse Manager and assigned warehouse areas.
• Provide direction to warehouse employees while performing individual responsibilities in specific functions.
• Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment including sit‑down, reach truck, cherry picker, layer picker, etc.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound containers, sorting by freight size and destination.
• Read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite shipping and tracing processes.
• Reconcile driver pickup and delivery manifests.
• Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight.
• Perform cleanup activities to maintain safety and cleanliness of the dock.
• Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight on applicable reports.
• Communicate workload needs and coordinate staffing with Warehouse Supervisor.
• Determine daily tasks, workloads, and staff coordination in conjunction with Warehouse Supervisor.
• Delegate warehouse tasks in assigned area in conjunction with Warehouse Supervisor.
• Identify system or process issues and communicate them to Warehouse Supervisor.
• Coordinate trucking transportation in and out of the warehouse.
• Maintain quality standards for warehouse storage and service, including communication to internal and external customers.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete other duties or tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Generally 4–6 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
• Competency operating forklifts and computer systems.
• Strong organizational, inventory, and accounting skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50+ lbs.
• Capable of performing all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
