Position Overview

The Operations Supervisor manages team workflow by assigning tasks, supporting staff, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. They ensure safety and efficiency by improving processes, setting targets, and acting as a liaison between employees and upper management, while coaching and resolving issues.

Work Location: On‑site

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Compensation & Benefits: Attractive annual salary of $70,000 plus bonus and benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote a safe environment for the customer’s product, associates, and temporary workers.
  • Follow established operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
  • Provide 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Build a positive teamwork environment by listening to and communicating with all associates.
  • Help maintain attendance and tardiness records.
  • Monitor daily compliance with safety procedures.
  • Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
  • Provide on‑the‑job coaching and training to maintain associate skills.
  • Assist with coordinating vacations, payroll, and timesheets for associates and temporary workers, and address complaints and concerns related to productivity and quality of work.
  • Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for the food‑grade warehouse.
Requirements

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED with some college‑level study.
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory warehousing role.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites or equivalent experience.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience a plus.
  • Inventory management experience a plus.
  • Third‑Party Logistics (3PL) experience a plus.
