Amazon Delivery Station Warehouse Associate Job Overview
You’ll be part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station – the last stop before we deliver smiles to customers. Our fast‑paced, active role receives trucks full of orders, then prepares them for delivery. You’ll load conveyor belts, transport, and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers.
BasicJob Requirements
- Be 18 years or older
- Understand and follow instructions in English
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- View prompts on screens and follow directions for some tasks
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles
- Receive and prepare packages for delivery
- Use technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans
- Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries of customer packages
- Early Morning and Overnight hours
- Full‑Time (40 hours), Reduced‑Time (30‑39 hours), Part‑Time (20‑29 hours), Flex‑Time (minimum 4 hours/week)
- Choose from a fixed or flexible schedule
- Your shift could be extended or reduced by additional hours based on customer demand and will be communicated during your shift

EquipmentYou’ll be operating and working around moving equipment—mobile carts, rolling cages, etc.
Physical ActivitySome activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs.
Work Conditions TemperatureClimate‑controlled facilities maintain temperatures between 60°F and 90°F in most areas. On hot days, temperatures can exceed 90°F and on cold days temperatures can reach below freezing.
Noise levelIt can get noisy provide hearing protection if you need it.
Dress codeRelaxed and comfortable. Closed‑toe shoes required. Protective safety footwear required in select areas.
