Material Handler (1st or 2nd Shift)
This role supports a fast-paced e-commerce distribution center by safely moving products throughout the facility using warehouse equipment. You will help ensure merchandise arrives in perfect condition by unloading inbound shipments, stocking inventory in designated locations, accurately picking orders, packing items for shipment, and loading outbound trucks for delivery to company locations. We are looking for individuals to start as soon as possible.

Must have previous Forklift or Tow Motor experience*
Experience with clamps is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move products throughout the distribution center.
- Unload merchandise from inbound trucks and process receipts according to established procedures.
- Inspect incoming products to help ensure they are in suitable condition for sale to customers.
- Stock received merchandise into specific designated locations within the warehouse.
- Locate specified products to accurately process customer and store orders.
- Move picked products to the loading dock in preparation for shipment.
- Pack smaller products into larger containers or cartons for shipment to stores and other destinations.
- Load merchandise onto outbound trucks for shipment to company locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Essential Skills
- Experience operating warehouse equipment in a distribution or warehouse environment.
- Hands-on experience with receiving and unloading merchandise from inbound trucks.
- Proficiency in inventory stocking and organizing products in designated storage locations.
- Experience with order picking and accurately locating specified products for shipment.
- Experience with shipping and loading processes, including preparing and loading trucks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Strong attention to detail to ensure products are in suitable condition for customers.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks during a shift.

Work Environment
This position is based in an e-commerce distribution center operating on a first-shift schedule starting at 6:00 a.m. You will work in a warehouse setting that involves regular use of material handling and warehouse equipment, as well as frequent loading, unloading, picking, and packing activities. The environment is active and fast-paced, with a focus on safety, organization, and teamwork. Appropriate work attire suitable for a warehouse facility is required to support safe and efficient operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northfield, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.65 - $20.65/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
