General Job Description
The Plumbing Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all warehouse operations, with a strong focus on plumbing materials. This role ensures timely receiving and processing of incoming materials, accurate order fulfillment, efficient packing and shipping, and maintaining a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment.

- Manage warehouse operations in alignment with company policies and long‑term vision.
- Design and optimize warehouse layout to maximize space efficiency and workflow.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce effective operational policies and procedures.
- Supervise receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance processes.
- Ensure compliance with all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation.
- Oversee inventory control, maintain accurate records, and reconcile stock with warehouse management systems.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and recommend restocking strategies for plumbing materials.
- Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and security in the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Manage, train, and supervise warehouse associates, ensuring adherence to safety practices.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee safe operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and material handling tools.
- Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and logistics departments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and team members to maintain high service quality.

Experience4–6 years
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
- Knowledge of plumbing materials and equipment (required).
- Ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Hands‑on experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and databases.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience managing warehouse teams.
- Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must meet the company’s minimum driving standards.
- Forklift certification (preferred).
- Physically capable of working at heights, using ladders, and operating in confined spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds.
