Fulfillment Specialist

Mom's Meals is seeking a Fulfillment Specialist to help ensure our refrigerated, ready-to-heat meals reach clients safely and on time. In this on-site role in Ankeny, you'll pick, pack, and stage meal orders, verify accuracy, and follow strict food safety and cold-chain standards. Working in a fast-paced, refrigerated environment, you'll use basic warehouse equipment and scanners to track inventory and shipments.

You'll join a mission-driven team that serves seniors and individuals with chronic conditions, with opportunities to grow in food production, logistics, and customer-focused operations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and stage refrigerated meal orders for shipment
• Verify order accuracy against pick lists and production schedules
• Operate basic warehouse equipment and follow cold-chain handling procedures
• Label, scan, and track inventory using handheld or warehouse systems
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards in work areas
• Follow all safety, quality, and temperature-control guidelines
• Collaborate with team members and leads to meet daily production and shipping goals
• Report product, equipment, or inventory issues promptly to supervisors
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and rotation of ingredients and finished meals
• Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce waste
