Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse operations across multiple shifts, including receiving, storage, inventory control, shipping, food safety, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations while maintaining inventory accuracy, customer service levels, regulatory compliance, and employee engagement.

The Warehouse Manager serves as a key leader within the Supply Chain organization, partnering with Production, Scheduling, Transportation, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Finance to achieve operational objectives.

• Lead and develop a multi-shift warehouse organization.
• Create a culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage and develop Warehouse Supervisors and Team Leads.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews.
• Coach employees and identify succession planning opportunities.
• Evaluate employee performance during probationary periods.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention efforts.
• Drive employee engagement and recognition programs.
• Direct inbound receiving, storage, inventory management, and outbound shipping activities.
• Oversee the training and safety of new and existing employees in the warehouse department.
• Responsible for the management of the forklift maintenance and spending.
• Coordinate operational priorities across all shifts.
• Ensure staffing levels meet business demands while minimizing overtime.
• Maintain equipment utilization and operational efficiency.
• Monitor workflow to maximize productivity and throughput.
• Provide operational coverage during supervisor absences as needed.
• Maintain proficiency in all warehouse functions.
