Forklift Operator

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and organize materials throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and transport products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.
• Receive, inspect, and properly place incoming materials in designated storage locations.
• Pull, stage, and prepare products and materials for shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory by properly scanning, labeling, and organizing products.
• Safely move pallets and large materials using forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
• Inspect forklift equipment before use and report any mechanical or safety issues immediately.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage during loading, unloading, and transportation.
• Assist with inventory organization and other general warehouse duties as assigned.
• Work cooperatively with team members and management to maintain an efficient warehouse operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Experience operating a Reach Truck, Order Picker, or Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) is a plus.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be safety-conscious and dependable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
