Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity
HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to become part of our prestigious practice located in Okeechobee, Florida. Raulerson Hospital is an integral part of the community and the sole hospital provider in Okeechobee County. It has been said that Raulerson Hospital offers what large hospitals can, but in a smaller setting.
ED Features:
- 29,000 ER visits per year
- 11-bed ED, including 3 fast-track
- 20% admission rate
- 24 hours of physician coverage
- 24 hours of APP coverage
- Active partnership with sister facility with a close proximity for Trauma
- Very generous compensation!
- Tax advantage of independent contractor status
Qualified candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible EM or Board certified FM or IM with EM experience, Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) with at least 24 months of current Emergency Room experience.
