Job Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform emergency procedures including trauma stabilization, resuscitation, and critical care interventions
- Collaborate effectively with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to ensure seamless patient care transitions
- Utilize Epower Doc EMR system for accurate and efficient patient documentation
- Work 12-hour emergency department shifts providing timely diagnosis and treatment
- Maintain current knowledge of emergency medicine protocols, procedures, and best practices
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital standards
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with emergency department experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine clinical experience
- Active Florida Medical License or eligibility to obtain licensure in Florida
- Current certifications required: ATLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Proficiency with Epower Doc EMR system preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities in high-pressure emergency situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient-focused approach with attention to detail and collaborative mindset
