Maintenance Worker, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Facility Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for responding to all general maintenance service calls.

• Make general plumbing, electrical, and structural repairs.
• Vacuum, wax floors, sweep and use necessary equipment.
• Remove trash and other items as needed.
• Clean using proper solvents.
• Lift heavy objects as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant interaction with the general public.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy.
