Position: RN for Hourly Hi-Tech Private Duty - PSL and Stuart Area

Description

Accord Care, a licensed private duty agency, is actively seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing team on the Treasure Coast. While we provide care throughout the region, our greatest hiring need is in Port St. Lucie and Stuart, where we are expanding our team to meet increasing patient demand.

Experience with Trach/Vent care and prior work with paraplegic, quadriplegic, or TBI patients is a plus!

Job Responsibilities
  • Complete start‑of‑care admissions and supervisory visits
  • Primarily serve patients in Port St. Lucie and Stuart, with opportunities throughout the Treasure Coast, including Fort Pierce, Sebastian, Jensen Beach, Palm City, and surrounding communities
  • Provide safe, effective nursing and personal care based on the Plan of Care
  • Administer medications and perform skilled nursing tasks within scope of practice
  • Assist with transferring, positioning, catheter care, and mobility needs
  • Communicate promptly regarding changes in medical status or emergencies
  • Coordinate care with the Nurse Supervisor / Clinical Manager
  • Escort clients to and from appointments or activities as requested
  • Conduct occasional client assessments and supervisory visits
  • Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, attention to detail, and sound clinical judgment
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Level 2 AHCA Clearinghouse clearance
  • Negative TB test (within last 5 years)
  • Home care experience
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
  • Ability to use an electronic health record (EHR) for documentation and care coordination
