• Certification as an Aircraft Mechanic by the Federal Aviation Administration with Airframe and Powerplant Ratings.
• Valid driver license required for all positions within this class.

• Occasional to moderate travel required.
• May respond to emergencies, including natural disasters or other incidents requiring travel.

• Maintain, perform preventive maintenance, rebuild and alter assigned reciprocating engine aircraft and turbine engine helicopters in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Perform scheduled inspections, research application of airworthiness directives, and maintain inspection forms and logbook entries.
• Coordinate with supervisor and pilots to analyze reported malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Deploy to field locations to provide mechanical, fuel and helibase support to deployed aircraft.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance of maintenance facilities and ground support equipment.
• Assist with building and ground maintenance, administrative tasks, property inventory, and other related duties.
