Minimum Requirements- Certification as an Aircraft Mechanic by the Federal Aviation Administration with Airframe and Powerplant Ratings.
- Valid driver license required for all positions within this class.

- Work history, duties, hours, supervisor, and formal education fields must be filled to determine qualifications.
- Responses to Qualifying Questions must be verifiable in the Candidate Profile.
- Occasional to moderate travel required.
- May respond to emergencies, including natural disasters or other incidents requiring travel.
- Maintain, perform preventive maintenance, rebuild and alter assigned reciprocating engine aircraft and turbine engine helicopters in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Perform scheduled inspections, research application of airworthiness directives, and maintain inspection forms and logbook entries.
- Coordinate with supervisor and pilots to analyze reported malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Deploy to field locations to provide mechanical, fuel and helibase support to deployed aircraft.
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance of maintenance facilities and ground support equipment.
- Assist with building and ground maintenance, administrative tasks, property inventory, and other related duties.
