** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, badging procedures, and security-related support for authorized entry and movement throughout the location.

+ Support emergency and medical response procedures by communicating with site personnel and first responders, helping with crowd control, and maintaining order during high-stress situations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Meet hospital vaccine requirements.

+ Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.

+ Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
